All districts in Wisconsin will be required to meet the new Educator Effectiveness requirements beginning in the 2014-15 school year. CESA 6 has been a leader in educator effectiveness across the state and has partnered with Wisconsin educators to design the CESA 6 Effectiveness Project©, a multi-tiered professional evaluation system for teachers, educational specialists and school administrators. The Howard-Suamico School District has selected the CESA 6 Effectiveness Project© to comply with the Wisconsin Educator Effectiveness Legislation.
The Education Effectiveness system will evaluate teachers and principals through a fair, valid, and reliable process using multiple measures across two main areas: educator practice and student outcomes. The goal of Wisconsin's Educator Effectiveness is to provide students with highly qualified and effective educators who positively affect student learning.
